Lilly is on its way!!!!!

I just wanted to say hi to all of my friends out there and let you know some of the new and exciting items we are bringing in!

First off, we have handmade lingerie from the UK (Little Green Lingerie) that can made to order. So just email us your sizes and we can have a custom made bathing suit or lingerie set to you in two weeks! We are excited about this. And, remember they are made out of recycled fabric so this is about as green as you can get. Look sexy and help the environment all at the same time! I ordered myself the green dot bathing suit and will be trying it out this weekend at the beach. I will make sure to take pictures.

Secondly, we are adding WasteNotSaks (http://www.wastenotsaks.com/) to our collection. These are adorable, reusable sandwich saks and snack saks. They have a washable inner lining and are machine washable. These are the perfect back to school gift for your little one or yourself!

We are gearing up for the holidays...Halloween, that is! Check out the new home decor that is on the way. Very tasteful, handmade and the perfect addition to make your house "spooky". We can't wait to put these skulls on display.







Full length aprons have been flying out the store, left and right. Ladies, it is the gentlemen that have been our biggest buyers. Does your significant other deserve a special gift? Try on one of our handmade, one of a kind aprons for size. You will not be disappointed.




Finally, Lilly Pulitzer is on its way to Simply Beautiful. We are excited to be the newest and only store in the area to carry the Lilly line. We are starting out with women's accessories, sweaters, and children's dresses. They should be here in the mid to late Fall, just in time for Christmas.

I am so excited about our new line arriving today by Little Green Lingerie. These are handmade bathing suits and lingerie in the cutest styles sure to flatter anyone's body. I absolutely love the ruffles ;). Please come in and check them out.

July's First Saturday (Friday, July 3rd)

Hi all,
I just wanted to send out a formal invitation to our July First Saturday Event, which is being held on Friday, July 3rd this year. We will be having our huge bi-annual sale. Every item in the store is on sale! When you come to the register to check out you will have the chance to pull 10%, 15% or 25% off ticket. But don't miss it....it is only July 3rd, July 4th and July 5th. Our store will open at 11 AM and we won't close until the last person leaves (usually around 9ish).

We are excited about our new tin signs from Mummert Sign Company. They are the perfect addition to your summer decor. They give that summer vintage appearance similar to what you see in Pottery Barn Magazine.

I also wanted to mention that we have our handmade sea-blue glass by AnnieGlass. These are wonderful serving pieces that are dishwasher safe. Very beautiful and very practical. Set a gorgeous table for your next summer event.

We also have Diana B. 60 second tanning sugar scrub. This is the best stuff ever. You apply it in the shower and leave it on for 60 seconds or longer and rinse off...nothing more! You won't have any streaks, no yucky smell, no more mess. The scrub smells like chocolate and it only takes a few applications for a deep summer color to develop. This stuff has been tested by Elle, Oprah, and InStyle. It was listed as the top 200 must-have beauty products. We are the only store in Frederick that carries this, so come get it before it is gone!

All of our Ame and Lulu bags are finally on sale! They are the perfect beach bag in very preppy designs and colors. We also have duffle bags and carry on luggage on sale.

New Website

Hi Friends!
I am so excited to have my new website up and running. I owe it all to Jennifer Hyman of GraphixDesigns. She can be found on Etsy.com. She is amazing :). Please check out her work at www.shopsimplybeautiful.com.

We will be adding new merchandise to the shop section soon so please check back often. Also, come visit us this weekend from 10-9 in downtown Frederick, MD for June's First Saturday Festival. Its always lots of fun and artists and musicians will be set up all over downtown. Its great for the family during the day and the ultimate date night excursion during the evening hours.

We are super excited about our new black leather satchel briefcase by Jack Georges. This would make a perfect Father's Day gift. I am also excited to announce that we now have Vera Bradley stationery in all the new Spring designs. These make great graduation gifts, birthday presents or just to help make your workspace more attractive.

First Time

Hi All,

This is my first attempt at blogging. I hope you will find this blog site informative and fun. I am the owner of Simply Beautiful Boutique in downtown Frederick, MD. We carry only the finest for the home, baby, and self.

We are excited to offer lines such as Dash and Albert Rugs, Votivo candles, Arte Italica pewter, Williamsburg Collection, Vera Bradley stationery, Jack Georges Purse and Briefcases, Storksak, Nest, NDI florals, among many more. We also carry pottery by the famous Ben Wolff. Simply Beautiful Boutique is helping to make your yard beautiful this spring. We have potted plants from a local Master Gardener guaranteed to help create a lovely potted display.

I am a big fan of handmade items. You will find fabulous photographs, purses, changing mats, tutus, aprons, body scrub and many more items made by very talented artists in our store. I am very proud to offer artwork by local artists such as Jennifer King, Lee Permenter, and Maureen Suardez. We are constantly adding new pieces on a weekly basis. So please stop in and see what is new.

We are also trying to do our part and help the environment. We offer many eco-friendly items and our store is powered by Wind Energy. We have replaced the majority of our bulbs to the energy efficient type. We are striving to help the environment in many ways and we encourage our customers to do the same.

That is a little about what I do each and every day. I thought for my "first time" blogging, I would introduce my store and hopefully entice to return often. My blog will consist of featured artists, new and exciting lines, and images of design I find intriguing. You may also find tidbits of interesting finds on the web. So, read often.
